so I have not posted for a little while and I have fell of the band wagon with my 365 day pot challenge!! my life has taken an unexpected change for the positive and I have met a lovely man!! so dining out and having long walks on the beach have seen me not be in the studio very much! for the first time in a very long time I feel very comfortable and happy. So I was thinking about my 365 day pot challenge and sometimes it is hard to get clay or have clay with me so I am going to change it to the 365 days of creativity challenge! so that makes it more broad and if I am away from the studio I can still take a photo or do a drawing ect. So while I have only made one pot so far I have been drawing and taking photos, I often find myself drawing little cups and bowls in a meeting when I should be concentrating!! I have also been feeling like I can not really start new work until my studio is all ready. Its almost done a few little bits to finish. I feel like I need a clear slate to begin. So I plan to finish it this week and get started as I have had expressions of interest from friends, galleries and shops which is lovely. Also I have made market coming up and I have not started so the sooner I get my studio finished the sooner I can start. the picture is some of my little drawings in my diary. I find that I am not really sure why but my drawings are quite flat! not sure if its because I am a 3d person and you can only do one medium well! let me know what you think.
